What is Qigong?

Qigong is an ancient practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and philosophy.  The practice consists of gentle movements, breathwork and meditation. Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the body’s vital life force energy, flowing through all living things.

What are the benefits of Qigong?

  • Increases energy flow, vitality, and physical balance.

  • Reduces stress and calms the mind through gentle movement.

  • Improves focus, flexibility, and coordination.

  • Encourages harmony between body, mind, and spirit.

In-Person Classes

I was inspired to bring Qigong to my community so that I could provide a safe and supportive environment for people to recalibrate their energy system.  We have established a wonderful community of practitioners and all of the classes are beginner friendly.

Join us in person every Saturday at  at Ladner United Church

9:30 am – 10:30 am

Drop-in $15 per class.

Private Classes

 

Private Qigong classes are designed to cater to the participants’ needs and goals, focusing on gentle movement, breathwork, and energy balance. 

Private classes range from 1:1 to a small group size.

 

Classes can be held in-person or online.

 

 

Qigong Wellness Workshops

 

Qigong wellness workshops is where participants explore gentle movement, mindful breathing, and energy-balancing techniques to support overall well-being. Each session is relaxed, engaging, and designed to leave participants feeling refreshed, centered, and energized. The workshops provide practical tools that can be easily integrated into daily life for lasting wellness benefits.

Corporate Wellness

 

Corporate wellness workshops brings Qigong and stress-reduction techniques to the workplace. These sessions are designed to boost energy, focus, and overall well-being while fostering a positive, connected work environment. Each workshop is engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of your team.

I am beyond grateful to Angela for offering her qi gong classes. They have proven to be life altering on many different levels. Angela is a gifted teacher, intuitive, intelligent, kind and open. The benefits of this one hour weekly class are not confined to that one hour time period. They radiant throughout the week. There is a sense of euphoria and deep belonging during and immediately after the class that remains in the body throughout the week. The class is made up of a completely diverse group, mostly women, of all ages and ethnicities and it is the kindest, most non-competitive, accepting and supportive group I have ever encountered. I am not, traditionally, a joiner of groups, but this class has proven to be a highlight of my week.

My once weekly practice of Qi Gong with Angela has made a significant positive difference to my life. During the sessions, I strengthen and stretch. But most importantly, I breathe in a circular fashion while I travel in my mind’s eye. A fantastic experience; it is so stimulating that I tingle! There is a genuine calmness that I experience before, during and after her guided visualization. I just love the Qi energy that is realized from Angela’s thoughtful guidance.
